LABEC Heavy Acid Hot Plates are suitable for applications using acids and other corrosive substances. The body is made from corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel, with an aluminium or graphite plate designed for temperature uniformity over the whole top surface. The controls are fitted to a remote control box with 2m leads, to allow the plate to sit inside a fume hood, with the sensitive controls outside of the fume environment. Special acid resistant element leads are used for extra durability. The option of PTFE coating for extreme environments is offered at additional cost.
